As a registered Irish branch of EcoNorth Ltd, we share all the same policies, procedures and insurance levels. The details of which are outlines below.
Our Health and Safety has been fully accredited by Acclaim Accreditation, which certifies our ability to carry out work safely and to the standards required under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Acclaim Accreditation is a member of ‘Safety Schemes In Procurement’ (SSIP), which is an umbrella organisation for stage 1 health and safety assessment schemes. SSIP is recognised by a large and growing number of buyers within the construction industry. We are a registered supplier with Constructionline, the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service.
Our Health and Safety system is fully OHSAS 18001:2007 certified, having been independently verified by Ocean Certification demonstrating to staff and clients alike that we are as safe and caring company, legally compliant and committed to continually improving our systems and practices.
All projects are subject to rigorous activity and site-specific Risk Assessments and are updated in the field as and when new risks are identified.
EcoNorth’s Quality Policy sets out our robust approach to ensuring quality across all our working practices. Specifically, we follow clear quality control procedure and every document produced, including maps and target notes, go through a three-stage review process including a technical review by a Senior Ecologist and final sign off by the Principal Ecologist or Executive Director. EcoNorth is currently working towards ISO 9001 accreditation which it anticipates having in place by March 2022.
We strive to deliver excellent service every time, but we know we are not perfect. EcoNorth views complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for the person or organisation which is why have a clear and transparent Customer Service Policy.
No matter how large or small your project is we understand that development can be a risky business which is why we ensure we have an appropriate level of insurance to put your mind at ease. EcoNorth is insured for £10 million public liability, professional indemnity and employers liability.
