EcoÉireann is a professional consultancy that provides a comprehensive ecological service for projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Services include botanical and protected species surveys, licencing and mitigation, all ecological assessments, land management, Clerk of Works and GIS mapping. We provide ecology surveys, assessments, information, advice and guidance regarding wildlife and their habitats .

We work closely with architects, planners, regulatory authorities, construction and engineering companies, film and TV companies, and the leisure sector to deliver legally compliant projects with respect to wildlife protection and enhancement.

Ecological Assessments

Ecological assessments can be requested by planning authorities under a range of guises. An ecological assessment can be required for a development should the local authority predict that an action would have an impact on an ecological feature. This feature could be a designated site or a protected species or habitat.
